Mr. Gu Xiaohua, Han ethnic, born in 1968, is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a senior engineer and a master. He was appointed the Director of the National Geological Library of China in 2010. He also serves as the director of Geoscience Documentation Center of CGS and the Secretary of the CPC Committee of NGLC.
He had formerly served as a deputy director of Development Research Center of CGS, and as the director and the Secretary of the CPC Committee of Physical Geological Data Center of the Ministry of Land and Resources.
